This was bound to happen - the first MacOS X virus/trojan
has been released and is spreading. More details here:
http://www.macworld.com/news/2006/02/16/oompa/index.php
At least we give our viruses cool names ("Oompa-Loompa").
This virus may take on different forms - be careful
when downloading files from the Internet. It also damages
all your applciations by inserting itself in their code.
One defense is to use either a non-admin or a throwaway
account on your Mac.
The Mac user who released this will be found, hung,
shot, and quartered. And then we're really going to hurt
him.
