Re: [asacmug] Post-Macworld Thoughts
I look forward to buying an iPhone when the G3 feature becomes avaliable in this country and the phone becomes more affordable. In the meantime, a Mac Book and a Mac Mini are on my shopping list. I thinnk we had so many great Mac-centric products in the past year that it was enough. After all, isn't the Mac increasing it's market share, while all other PeeCee manufactures are stagnent.
As long as Steve Jobs is healthy, the good timew will roll at Apple.

All in all, it was a pretty good Macworld. Not good from a Mac-centric
point of view, but good in the sense that we know where Apple is
headed, and it's a good direction - away from Microsoft. Apple's
diversification and innovation has assured its survival without
relying on Windows-infested corporate America.
MacOS has tried for 20+ years to get into business, and Apple has
given up on that goal (notwithstanding niches like graphic arts and
science). Why not be like Sony? They seem to have done well w/o having
a significant presence in corporations. Their stumbles last year gives
Apple an opportunity to replace them as the "Premier Consumer
Electronics Company".
Enjoy your iPhones,
Alex
