I have migrated two of my Macs to Leopard, so if anyone wants to share
tips and tricks, I can actually try it on my Mac instead of guessing
or Googling for an answer. My impression is that Leopard is not worth
it if you have a PowerPC Mac but worth it if you have an Intel Mac.

1) Based on a gut feeling, I reformatted my OSX boot partition and did
a clean install instead of an "Archive and Install".
2) Best feature is the faster and more robust Finder.
Coverflow/Quicklook/Stacks work better than expected.
3) Spaces and Time Machine are overrated and the latter really eats up
CPU cycles.
4) X11 is seriously broken and is one reason we won't be upgrading at
work, even if the 10.5 developer tools are much improved.
5) Improvements in Apple's included applications are numerous and
subtle and needs to be explored and used to justify the cost.
6) Before upgrading a PowerPC G3/G4/G5 Mac, be aware that you *will*
lose Classic and the ability to run OS 7/8/9 apps when you move to
10.5. However, there are ways to restore Classic using non-Apple software.

Macworld 2008 pictures are online:

Here's a Macworld music treat - Whitney performed this song at the
Chaat Cafe during the Expo. Amazing cover of a Linda Ronstadt classic.

It is the people and events happening outside Moscone Center that
makes each Expo unique, because on the show floor, everything looks
and sounds the same....
