The votes are in and the decision is to close the ASACMUG
Yahoo group. I have setup a phpBB bulletin board on my own
server. This is similar to software that powers net4mac.com -
I did not choose to use net4mac since they were not very
clear about their privacy policies - I got the feeling from
their tech support that although the service was going
to stay free, we would be subjected to advertisements
and marketing similar to what's on our current Yahoo group.
I also had issues with their performance and inability
to access the site using a regular web browser.

The new ASACMUG bulletin board is secure and ad-free, with
no limits or quotas. The minimum information it keeps
is a username, hashed password, and email.

Please go to the new site and register as new users,
providing as little or as much information as you
wish.
