Didn't see anyone dressed as an iPod tonight, but someone
did:

After my own experience with a Mac-based trojan earlier last
week, here is a suggestion to help make Mac OS X a little safer
after Halloween:

1. Download and install (as administrator) "RCDefaultApp" which is a
free preference pane.

http://www.rubicode.com/Software/RCDefaultApp/

2. Open your system preferences (Apple menu->System Preferences...")

3. Select "Default Apps" (under others) and configure as follows:

4. Click on the URLs tab.

5. Select "<disable>" for any protocol that uses the Terminal or
Finder as the default. You can also choose another application if you
have one and trust it. Specific protocols to change include: afp,
ssh, telnet, and x-man-page.
