Just a reminder that the SoCal MacFair will be held in 10 days
at Cerritos College on November 5, 2005.

A couple of features have been added to the show that may
make it more attractive for you fence-sitters

1) Author Keynote
2) Free film screening
3) e-Waste recycling

The last feature is important, as it is now illegal in California
to dump your computer hardware (monitors, CPUs, printers, laptop
batteries, circuit cards) in the trash. To get rid of it legally,
you have to pay someone to haul it away. At MacFair, you will be
able to get rid of your "e-trash/e-waste" for free and get some
coupons for your trouble.

We will have an ASACMUG breakfast before the show!
We are currently planning to meet a Hof's Hut in
Cerritos about two miles south of Cerritos College
around 9:30 am on November 5.
